مجتبی اکبری، فرزند آخر خانواده، آرماتوربندی زحمتکش و ۳۳ ساله بود. او شامگاه ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در بلوار توس مشهد هدف تیراندازی قرار گرفت و بهای آزادی را با خون خود پرداخت. او در میان رگبار گلولهها تا آخرین لحظه در جریان اعتراضات ایستادگی کرد.
